On Washington Park Ground IV, the game between THE ADVANCERS and The IITANS ended up in much more excitement. The

Advancers won by 17runs. The captain, Suresh won the toss and elected to bat first, which resulted in what seemed to be a

favorable decision as per the expectation of IITANS by the end of the Innings, the advancers managed to make a fighting total of

152 runs, thanks to a handy innings by PAWAN, who made 30 out in which there were two massive blows over the ropes and 3

classy strokes to the boundaries.

As most of the crowd the expected that total did not seem to be that defendable, until their star batsman, LAKSHMIKUMAR was

caught in front of the stumps by a flighted delivery of Syed Khadry. The remaining batsmen could not stand against some mighty

spin by Pawan and Syed Khadry and got bowled out for 140runs, falling short by 12runs. With this win against IIT, Advancers

along with Peoria move to division I in the 2008 season. Mr.Aditya Burman and Mr. Khalid Dhadhabhai were the umpires for this

match.
